Jay Turner-Cooke scored an added-time winner to fire Halifax to a 1-0 National League victory at Altrincham.

The match looked to be heading to a goalless draw after Turner-Cooke struck the crossbar in the first half.

However, Turner-Cooke delivered from the edge of the penalty area in the fifth minute of added time as Halifax secured all three points.

The win leaves Halifax eighth in the table, three points below Southend in the play-offs, with Altrincham in 16th.
