
Newport County have won two of their last three matches
Newport County came from a goal down to beat play-off hopefuls Barnet 2-1 and climb out of the League Two relegation zone.
Callum Stead kept his cool to put the hosts ahead at Hive Stadium just after the half hour mark with County substitute Ben Lloyd twice denied before the break.
County continued to press the Bees' defence, with another Lloyd effort cleared off the line by Danny Collinge, while Jordan Wright produced a fine save to deny Barnet's Romoney Crichlow-Noble.
Bobby Kamwa's close-range effort got County back level on 65 minutes, before Tanatswa Nyakuhwa set up James Crole for the winner and what could be a crucial three points in County's football league survival.
They rise to 21st in the table while Barnet are 12th.
