Plenty of goals, drama and red cards in Leagues One and Two today.

That included one of the most bizarre sendings-off you'll ever see at Notts County, where Ollie Norburn's decision to hurl an opponent's boot off the pitch earned him a second booking.

Thanks for keeping us company - and make sure you join us again for more EFL action on Monday evening, when Portsmouth take on Derby in the Championship.

    Cheerio until then!

It feels like a big day in League Two.

Bromley edged to a 1-0 home win over Bristol Rovers to stay top of the pile but the division's form team are MK Dons who made it 13 unbeaten and made it 40 away goals in 19 games with a 2-1 victory at rivals Swindon.

Cambridge complete the top-three after Neil Harris' side beat his former club Gillingham 5-0 and a lunchtime defeat for Notts County to Chesterfield has given the top-three a handy cushion.

Walsall might just be back in business after a 3-0 win over Crewe while Grimsby lost ground in the play-off race after defeat at Oldham.

Salford's lunchtime win at Harrogate took them up to fifth and left their hosts bottom after Barrow picked up a point against Accrington and Newport jumped out of the drop-zone with a 2-1 win at Barnet.

Lincoln have a 15-point lead in the race for their first promotion to the second tier in 65 years.

The Imps rode their luck to beat Stockport 3-1 at lunchtime, while third-placed Bolton had to settle for a point at lowly Rotherham, though Cardiff did cut the gap at the top to four points with a 4-0 win at floundering Exeter this afternoon.

Stevenage were the only other top-half side to win and climb to fifth after a 1-0 win over AFC Wimbledon while Stockport slip out of the play-offs after Huddersfield's stalemate at Port Vale.

There were some big results at the bottom with Burton beating Northampton, Doncaster overcoming Blackpool, Leyton Orient pipping Peterborough and Wigan defeating Bradford to leave the relegation zone looking more assured than it has for a while.

    • Elsewhere, Cambridge thumped Gillingham 5-0 thanks to goals from Dom Ball, Sulley Kaikai (2), Louis Appere and Shayne Lavery.
    • It was Albert Adomah's day after two goals and an assist helped Walsall past Crewe with a 3-0 win in the first game since Mat Sadler's exit.

    • It's as you were at the top, with leaders Lincoln winning 3-1 at home to Stockport and second-placed Cardiff romping to a 4-0 victory at Exeter.
    • The chasing pack lost ground, with Bolton held to a 2-2 draw at Rotherham and Bradford succumbing to a 2-0 defeat against Wigan - who are now three points above the relegation zone.
    • Stevenage's 1-0 win at home to Wimbledon lifted them into fifth place, but Wycombe missed the opportunity to join them in the top six, going down 2-1 at home to Luton.
    • At the foot of the table, managerless Northampton stay second from bottom after a 2-0 home defeat to Burton stretched their winless run to six games.
    • Blackpool's 2-1 loss at Doncaster kept them inside the bottom four, but Leyton Orient held on to beat Peterborough 2-1 and move four points clear.
  6. 'MK took their chances when they came'published at 17:07 GMT 14 March

    FT: Swindon 1-2 MK Dons

    Steve Hale
Ex-Swindon goalkeeping coach on BBC Radio Wiltshire

It's not how much of the ball you have, it's what you do with it.

I highlighted set-pieces before the game and Mk had scored 21, they've now scored 22.

We didn't exactly see Connor Ripley fly around his goal but MK took their chances when they came and we didn't.

  7. 'Caldwell has really turned around the fortunes of Wigan'published at 17:07 GMT 14 March

    FT: Wigan 2-0 Bradford

    Nathan Ellington
Ex-Wigan striker on BBC Radio Manchester

Gary Caldwell has really turned around the fortunes of Wigan, it was all doom and gloom when he came in and he's turned it around.

They look capable of scoring goals, an unbelievable performance from the first minute to the last, they're playing against a team battling for promotion and you would think Wigan were that team off of today's performance.

  8. 'It was a scrap in Wiltshire'published at 17:06 GMT 14 March

    FT: Swindon 1-2 MK Dons

    Paul Dixon
    BBC Three Counties Radio commentator

This is huge in the automatic promotion race.

They're now seven points clear of Notts County.

It was a scrap in Wiltshire but it's an absolutely massive win for Dons.

  9. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:57 GMT 14 March

    Doncaster 2-1 Blackpool

Deep breath for the Doncaster faithful as their team hold out and clinch a very valuable three points against 10-man Blackpool.

Rovers will be moving five points clear of the fourth bottom team - which is Blackpool.

  10. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:55 GMT 14 March

    Wigan 2-0 Bradford

A great day for Wigan as they battle to avoid the drop, a dark one for Bradford as any hopes of automatic promotion look over.

Caylan Vickers fired home the opener with a fine finish past Sam Walker into the top corner on 21 minutes and the game was settled 12 minutes from time when Joe Taylor pounced on a slip from Jenson Metcalfe and sped away to find the corner past Walker.

Bradford's sixth defeat in seven away games and the only good news is the results from the other play-off chasers were helpful to them staying in the top-six.

Wigan have a three-point cushion over the bottom four.

  13. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:52 GMT 14 March

    Swindon 1-2 MK Dons

What a week for MK Dons.

11 goals, three wins and they have tightened their grip on an automatic promotion place, at the expense of one of the sides chasing them.

Alex Gilbey's deflected strike from range broke the deadlock and though Ollie Clarke levelled for the hosts just before the hour, Marvin Ekpiteta settled it after a sublime Ben Wiles cross late-on to make it 13 games unbeaten for Paul Warne's side.

Swindon have one win in six and plenty of work to do to avoid a date with the play-offs.

  14. FULL-TIMEpublished at 16:52 GMT 14 March

    Bromley 1-0 Bristol Rovers

A huge win for Bromley after a string of draws recently.

They march on towards League Two promotion thanks to Will Hondermarck's first half strike.

Rovers battled and had chances, but faced a long road back after Shaq Forde's red card inside the last 10 minutes.

Shayne Lavery has rounded off an extremely comfortable afternoon for Cambridge against Gillingham. It is 5-0.

  16. RED CARDpublished at 16:51 GMT 14 March

    Doncaster 2-1 Blackpool

And just as Blackpool spirits were lifted, they're almost immediately dented again.

Defender Fraser Horsfall is sent off after picking up his second booking.

Comfortable for Cardiff, who are winning 4-0 at Exeter with Callum Robinson hitting number four.

And it looked more comfortable for Leyton Orient as well.

Tyreeq Bakinson doubled their advantage at home to Peterborough - only for Jimmy-Jay Morgan to pull one back for Posh almost immediately.
