Emmanuel Dieseruvwe did not mess around with a penalty this week as National League leaders Rochdale returned to winning ways by sweeping aside Woking 3-0.
Dieseruvwe caused a stir in midweek when he appeared to back out of taking a penalty in the 1-1 draw with Scunthorpe and instead gave away a free-kick.
But this time he emphatically sent Will Jaaskelainen the wrong way to round off the scoring as Dale bounced back from successive draws to remain a point clear of York.
Kyron Gordon had headed Rochdale into a 27th-minute lead from Joe Pritchard's corner before Dieseruvwe slotted home a second after good work from Ryan East.
The striker stepped up to score his 18th goal of the campaign after Dan Moss had been fouled by Aaron Drewe in the 74th minute.
