Glasgow City strengthened their bid to reclaim the SWPL title for the first time since 2023 with a comfortable win over Partick Thistle in the first game of the split fixtures.

Midfielder Emma Gray got them off to the perfect start, scoring after only two minutes on her first league start since signing at the end of January.

Four minutes later, they had their second. This time, it was former Scotland striker Abi Harrison on the scoresheet, scoring her second in two games.

Emma McLaughlin netted the third and it was spectacular, driving in from distance to kill the game off before the half-hour mark.

There was only one goal in the second, another for Harrison as she tapped in a Lisa Evans cross from a few yards out.

Leanne Ross' outfit now move six points clear of second-placed Hearts.
