Hutchison now has 15 goals for the season in all competitions after her brace

Hearts continued to confound expectations in the SWPL as they beat Rangers 3-2 for the second time this season and moved into second place in the table.

Eva Olid's side hit the front after only six minutes through Georgia Timms' stooped header, but Rangers' equalised immediately as Katie Wilkinson stabbed in Mia McAulay's cross.

But Bayley Hutchison's second-half double was enough for Hearts to leapfrog Leanne Crichton's side who now find themselves eight points behind league leaders Glasgow City.

Her first was a tap-in rebound after Sade Adamolekun saw her shot saved, while her second was a phenomenal header that looped up and over the goalkeeper.

Rangers did their best to set up a tense finale as Laura Berry tucked in from Camille Lafaix's knockdown in the box, but Hearts held on for a famous win at the Oriam.

Olid's side are now just six points off the top spot, as Rangers slip down to fourth.
