Katie Wilkinson scored Rangers' first goal against Hibs

Rangers twice came from behind to avoid two defeats in Edinburgh within the space of four days as they drew with reigning champions Hibernian in the Scottish Women's Premier League.

The visitors, beaten by second-top Heart of Midlothian on Sunday, remain fourth, one point behind Celtic and eight adrift of leaders Glasgow City, with Hibs six points further back.

Scotland striker Kathleen McGovern fired Hibs into the lead after seven minutes.

English forward Katie Wilkinson headed Rangers' reply six minutes later from Calliste Brookshire's cross.

Hibs forward Eilidh Adams had the ball in the net after 21 minutes but was denied by offside before defender Tiree Burchill did head the hosts ahead 13 minutes after the break from a Rosie Livingstone cross.

It was Rangers' turn to be denied by the offside flag after substitute Camille Lafaix headed home.

However, home striker Caroline Heron got the last touch to put the ball into her own net amid a goalmouth scramble with 15 minutes remaining.
