Summary
An Atlantic low will move northeast across the Faroe Islands on Friday night, with a showery airflow covering much of the United Kingdom. Winds will decrease through Saturday with strong westerly winds increasingly confined to far northern waters by evening. An anticyclone approaching from the southwest will become centred over Ireland by Sunday.
