Kim Shin-ji grabbed Rangers' winner in their Glasgow derby

Rangers moved up to third in the Scottish Women's Premier League and within two points of leaders Glasgow City after a narrow win over Partick Thistle.

The hosts were looking to recover from Sunday's Sky Sports Cup final defeat by City.

But it took Rangers more than a half an hour to break the deadlock, with on-loan Roma midfielder Kim Shin-ji firing home.

That, though, proved to be enough to secure a win that lifts Rangers above Celtic, who lost 4-1 away to second-top Hearts and to within two points of a City side who lost 1-0 at home to Hibs.
