Manager Nigel Clough saw Mansfield hold promotion hopefuls Bradford to a 1-1 draw in his 300th game in charge of the club.

The Stags made it five games unbeaten to frustrate the Bantams, who had the majority of the play at Valley Parade.

The first real chance fell to the visitors as Adedeji Oshilaja nodded over the crossbar from a corner.

Victor Adeboyejo opened the scoring for Mansfield with his first goal for the club with a poacher's finish to stab home in the 20th minute.

Stags goalkeeper Liam Roberts then made a strong save to keep out Tyreik Wright's strike, while Matthew Pennington saw his effort go just wide on the stroke of half-time.

The Bantams pushed hard after the restart with Ibou Touray's effort kept out by Roberts.

Will Swan was the next home player to spurn a chance when he nodded over the bar.

But Wright produced a trademark stunner as he smashed a strike into the bottom corner from 25 yards with 18 minutes left.
