Forest Green won for the first time in five National League games with a 2-0 win at Gateshead.
Tom Knowles scored for the second time in two games to put the away side ahead after five minutes.
Gateshead looked to respond quickly but Jacob Butterfield saw his effort parried away by Harry Isted.
The visitors doubled their lead after 56 minutes through Chibuzo Nwoko who found the net with a lob over Pete Jameson for the first senior goal of his career.
