No quarter asked. None given. A point apiece.

It will move Albion five points clear of the drop-zone and takes Millwall back into the top-two, but crucially allows their rivals to capitalise when they take to the field tomorrow afternoon.

Millwall came close through Josh Coburn, who scooped a volley wide from six yards when it might have been easier to head in before the break, while Mihailo Ivanovic thumped the crossbar with a wonderful 25-yard curler, but Albion's threat grew after the break and it needed a wonderful block from keeper Anthony Patterson to deny Jayson Molumby what would have been a late winner against his former club while Ousmane Diakite nodded past the post from a couple of yards out in a melee from a corner.

An absorbing game which deserved a goal, but it ultimately never came... the point will likely benefit Albion more than the Lions, but both will watch Saturday's action intently.

    West Brom 0-0 Millwall

Callum Styles thinks he's won a last-ditch corner but Barry Bannan does well to track him and his block ricochets off Styles and behind for a goal-kick.

  3. Postpublished at 90+6 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Millwall

Albion look the more likely winner as we go into the final two minutes of added time, you have to say.

  4. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 90+5 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Millwall

Millwall had one sub left, as Danny McNamara was a concussion sub for Joe Bryan, so Barry Bannan has been introduced in place of Femi Azeez for the final knockings.

Not the warmest reception for the former Aston Villa man.

  5. YELLOW CARDpublished at 90+5 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Millwall

Millwall trying to get something going in added time, not seen much of them as an attacking threat in the past 15 minutes.

The ball drops to Mihailo Ivanovic near the edge of the box but he can't get enough power on his strike and it's easy for Max O'Leary to gather.

The Serb then picks up a yellow card for a frustrated tug on a defender as the ball runs out of his path.

Eight minutes of added time. Well at least there is time for West Brom to find a winner or one for Millwall.

    We'll have EIGHT added minutes.

More than enough time for a winner, then...

  8. Postpublished at 90 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Millwall

Isaac Price's inswinging corner is punched away at his near post by Anthony Patterson and though it breaks to Callum Styles 20 yards out, he can only blast the ball high and wide into the away fans behind that goal.

  9. Postpublished at 88 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Millwall

Josh Maja tries an ambitious angled effort from the left of the box but earns a corner off Caleb Taylor.

Another set-piece for Isaac Price but Taylor heads it well clear before Danny McNamara is penalised for handball on the touchline, giving the hosts another opportunity, which earns them another corner.

  10. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 87 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Millwall

Danny McNamara is coming on for Joe Bryan who is clearly shaken up after that collision in the goalmouth.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 84 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Millwall

Eseosa Sule is on for Daryl Dike for the final few minutes for Albion, can he write his name into Hawthorns folklore?

Lions sub Joe Bryan is still getting treatment after getting a blow to the face in the goalmouth melee which led to Ousmane Diakite heading wide a moment ago.

He might have to be replaced himself...

James Morrison is down on his knees, he is down on the ground.

He can't believe that Ousmane Diakite chance didn't go in!

As convincing a victory as you can get in League Two.

Goals from Arthur Read, Will Goodwin and Harry Anderson in the second half capped a dominant performance from Colchester.

Swindon were not helped by a red card to James Ball before the break as they miss the chance to go second in the table.

Colchester had 25 shots to Swindon's four. An evening to forget for Ian Holloway's side.

That means Bromley will seal promotion from League Two should they beat MK Dons tomorrow lunchtime.

  14. CLOSE!published at 83 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Millwall

Isaac Price whips in a glorious corner to the back post but Nat Phillips just gets in the way of Ousmane Diakite at the vital moment and the midfielder can only plant a header inches past the post from a couple of yards out.

Is that the chance for Albion?

  15. GREAT SAVE!published at 81 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Millwall

Albion do manage to get it to Callum Styles on the left of the Lions box but his cut-back towards Josh Maja is turned past the near post by Jake Cooper.

The corner is taken short to Styles who fires in a low cross-shot which drops to the feet of Jayson Molumby but he is denied from five yards out by a stunning save from the sprawling Anthony Patterson.

  16. Postpublished at 80 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Millwall

Millwall dropping deeper now as Albion try to get it forward, but the Lions' press is still full of energy, boosted by the fresh legs of their four recent subs.

  17. 'Diakite is still moving gingerly'published at 21:35 BST

    West Brom 0-0 Millwall

    Steve Hermon
    BBC Radio WM commentator

Ousmane Diakite is still moving gingerly.

It will be a big blow for Albion, James Morrison's only option is Harry Whitwell, aged 20 - does he want to bring him into this intense cauldron?

  18. Postpublished at 76 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Millwall

Another right-wing cross, this time from Tristan Crama, is met by Tommy Watson coming in off the left again but his angled header loops well wide. Always a bit high for him.

Millwall giving this a real go, a point would be more valuable to West Brom than the Lions, given their situations, you'd think.

  19. CLOSE!published at 75 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Millwall

Ousmane Diakite is back in the action but does not look remotely comfortable.

Macauley Langstaff gets to the byline on the right for Millwall and dinks a cross to the back stick where his fellow-sub Tommy Watson is waiting to turn home from a couple of yards out until Danny Imray somehow gets back to get his head in the way. Crucial defending.

  20. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 73 mins

    West Brom 0-0 Millwall

Thierno Ballo and Zak Sturge are heading off for Millwall during this stoppage with Tommy Watson and Joe Bryan coming on to add fresh legs to that left flank.
