Arthur Fils and Andrey Rublev both came back from a set down to reach the final of the Barcelona Open.

Russian Rublev secured a place in his first final of the year - and 29th of his career - by beating Serbia's Hamad Medjedovic 3-6 6-2 6-2.

Rublev, who had lost his past four semi-finals, will be aiming to win his first title since beating Britain's Jack Draper in the Qatar Open final in February 2025.

Frenchman Fils beat Spaniard Rafael Jodar, who knocked out Britain's Cameron Norrie in the quarter-finals, 3-6 6-3 6-2.

"On the TV I don't think you can see how hard he is hitting," said Fils after his 100th victory on the ATP Tour.

"It took me one set to get used to his quality, and then after I felt better and I finished very strong.

"A title is always something different. You can win a lot of matches during a year and still not win a title.

"Rublo is a great champion. We had some big battles in the past, so it's not going to be easy."

The final starts at 15:00 BST on Sunday.
