In January Blue Peter together with BBC New Talent went in search of its newest presenter, a junior chef, and launched an online competition to find the right person for the job. Over 12,000 young would be chefs applied.

The Blue Peter team including presenters Konnie Huq and Andy Akinwolere took their mobile kitchen on the road interviewing thousands of hopefuls from Glasgow to Exeter.

Boot Camp - It's getting serious

Hot Chocolate Soufflé under the TV lights
Jake, Zaashen and Jack came to BBC Television Centre in London for the final cook off where under the studio lights they each cooked Hot Chocolate Soufflé hoping to impress the judges.
