Have you been enjoying some sun this week? Warmer weather has arrived for much of the UK, with the possibility of highs reaching 19 or 20 degrees celsius in parts of Southern England by Thursday.

Whilst the weather has been brighter, we've certainly seen our fair share of April showers this month, with Scotland seeing more rainfall than average for spring so far.

Parts of Northern England, Northern Ireland and Wales have seen a lot of rainfall too, but this week is definitely bringing sunnier vibes and we want to know how YOU are enjoying the nicer weather?

What are you doing in the sun? Maybe you'll be outside playing with your friends or going on a bike ride?

Mid-Scotland, North-west England, West and north west wales and Northern Ireland is another section with the label "around average", South East, midlands and north east is another section labelled "drier than average" and south east and some of the south coast is "much drier than average.

Parts of the UK have seen less rain than others this spring

We're around halfway into spring and the rainfall across the country has been quite varied.

Over the next week there will be about 5-10mm of rain in the far north-east of Scotland.

But it's looking mostly dry with maybe a few showers here or there for the rest of the UK in the first half of the week.

A temperature of 26.6C was recorded at Kew Gardens in London on 8 April - the UK's warmest early April day for 80 years and the warmest day of the year so far in 2026.

This week isn't likely to get quite so hot and there'll be a cool breeze to go with the sunshine too.

Highs are expected to reach around 19C in parts of Wales and Southern England by Thursday, which will hopefully stick around into the weekend too.

So, how are you enjoying this sunnier weather? Don't forget to let us know in the comments below!
