Former US Ambassador to NATO, Ivo Dalder, responding to the speech, said that Trump's statement raised "doubts about the objectives of the war" and left several important questions unanswered, including why the US is still continuing military operations in Iran when, as Trump said, Iran's nuclear, naval and missile capabilities have been destroyed.

One thing is clear from President Trump's statement: the war will continue.

Despite heavy losses in the early stages, Iran is still fighting hard and continuing the war.

The conflict between the United States and its NATO allies in the war is now clearly visible, and Trump is not only making superficial statements to NATO allies but has also threatened to withdraw.

Despite the war continuing for more than a month, the reaction of the Iranian people was not as Trump and Netanyahu had expected, despite the leaders calling on the Iranian people to rebel and overthrow the government.

Iran's attacks on US military bases in the Gulf countries not only caused significant damage but also negatively affected the image of those countries as safe havens.

According to experts, the long duration of this war has led to a decline in the trust of Gulf and European countries in the United States in terms of security guarantees.

The closure of the Strait of Hormuz by Iran has caused a major global oil crisis. Many countries are now pressuring the United States and Israel to immediately end the conflict, and some countries have refused to use the strait as a base for military operations.

At the same time, the United States accused its allies such as Britain, France, Italy, Spain and Canada of not helping in the war against Iran.

Did the US and Israel face pressure?

To understand this, we have to go back to the early days of this war.

An airstrike on a girls' primary school in the city of Minab in Iran killed several people, including many girls.

For the first time, many European countries, including France, Germany, Britain, Italy and China, condemned the attack, and voices against the war began to rise.

Several other countries also strongly condemned the attack, blaming the United States and Israel. It should be noted that so far neither the United States nor Israel has admitted responsibility for the attack.

In total, this war lasted more than four weeks without an end, the Strait of Hormuz was closed, and the world was hit by an oil crisis. Even after the assassination of the supreme leader of Iran, it still continued to fight and presented its conditions for ending the war.

As the war continues, the United States and Israel face international criticism.

Large protests against the war have even taken place within the United States itself.

So, in this situation, has Iran succeeded to some extent in creating an environment that fosters hostility towards the United States and Israel through its military and diplomatic strategies?

US President Donald Trump announced via his Truth Social account on March 23 that there were very good talks between the United States and Iran about ending the war, but at the same time he continued to issue strong threats of attack.

According to strategic expert Brahma Chellani, "Trump started this war with the goal of overthrowing the Iranian government, but having failed to achieve that primary goal, he is now negotiating with the very regime he said he would remove. The Iranian negotiations are essentially forced after recognizing the real truth."

Hamid Reza Azizi, a researcher at the German Institute for Security and International Affairs in Berlin, wrote an analysis of the recent conflict in Iran titled "How Iran Changed Its War Strategy."

Speaking at the Carnegie Institution, he said:

"Iran has repeatedly increased the cost of war for the United States and Israel by targeting critical infrastructure using missiles and drones."

"Iran has deliberately portrayed this war as a regional conflict. It does not see it as just a bilateral conflict."

"This means that the United States and Israel could be attacked from various locations such as Lebanon, Iraq and the Persian Gulf, and be forced to spend their military budget in many areas. In addition, Iran has created a situation of unpredictability, they do not know where the next attack will come from."

According to him, Iran's strategy is not focused on winning the war quickly, but on tiring its opponents.

"It seems that Iran does not want to end the war quickly, but continues to exert military, political and economic pressure for a long time, in order to make the war expensive not only for its opponents but also for their allies."
