Trailfinders Women have made seven changes to their squad since the break; they are without talisman Meg Jones, due to a shoulder problem. Jones was one of five Red Roses to be awarded an MBE in the New Years honors list along with Harlequins mercurial full-back and England team-mate Ellie Kildunne.

Trailfinders currently sit in sixth position in the table but are only three points shy of Harlequins having drawn and won their last two matches. Captain Kate Zackary made an impressive 25 tackles in their clash with Loughborough Lightning, she is joined by Rachel Malcolm and Red Rose Abi Burton in the back row. Black Ferns Maia Roos and Alana Borland are in the engine room.

Both sides will want to kick-off the new year with a win. There might be not be murders or banishments but there could be some high tackles in the turret.
