It is a top v bottom of the table clash in the Netball Super League this Saturday and you can watch it live on BBC iPlayer.
Loughborough Lightning are the only team in the NSL to have maintained a 100% record so far this season. Samantha Wallace-Joseph proved to be a key player for the East Midlands side as she scored 30 goals and seven super shots to see Lightning triumph in a 66-58 victory over London Mavericks last Sunday. She is now the second highest scorer in the Super League, just 16 points behind London Pulse's Liv Tchine.
This Saturday they welcome winless Birmingham Panthers who have struggled to get going this season. The Panthers made their debut in 2025 and are still finding their feet within the Netball Super League. In the 2025 season they won just three matches; however one of those was a 67-58 victory over Loughborough Lightning.
It could take a Herculean effort for the Panthers to topple the table leaders – however they may rely on their previous form to upset the three-time champions.
