    St Johnstone are three points clear at the top of the Scottish Championship after coming back to draw with Queen's Park.

    Euan Murray headed the visitors in front from Aidan Connolly's free-kick in the first half.

    Josh McPake's strike levelled for Saints early in the second period.

    But the Perth side had to settle for a point and were unable to re-establish their five-point advantage over Partick Thistle, who beat Ross County 3-1 on Friday evening.

    Queen's Park are seventh, below Raith Rovers and Greenock Morton on goal difference and eight points clear of second-bottom County.

    Like Saints, the Spiders have five league fixtures to play.

    Greenock Morton are four points off the Scottish Championship's promotion play-off spots after beating Arbroath.

    Owen Moffat struck to put the hosts in front and Curtis Main headed Morton's second.

    Findlay Marshall's shot reduced Arbroath's deficit before half-time.

    However, the visitors could not find an equaliser and they sit third, 12 points below Partick Thistle and seven points above Dunfermline Athletic, who have two games in hand.

    Morton are below Raith Rovers on goal difference and four points off Dunfermline. The Greenock side are also eight points above second-bottom Ross County.

    Both Morton and Arbroath have five league fixtures remaining.
