Rai Dos Santos hit a hat-trick as Jersey Bulls moved up to fourth place in Isthmian League South East after an impressive 6-1 win over Crowborough Athletic at Springfield.

The victory means they have a three-point cushion in the play-off places with five games to go.

Dos Santos - who has scored seven goals in his last four games - had a hand in the opener as Luke Campbell slotted home after his header had been saved in the ninth minute.

He got his first three minutes later with a first time finish from Toby Ritzema's cross before he converted Adam Trotter's cross midway through the half.

Lorne Bickley made it 4-0 after half an hour as the islanders continued their unbeaten streak that stretches back to late December.

Dos Santos finished well to get his hat-trick 13 minutes into the second half before Ritzema made it 6-0 when he fired in off the bar 12 minutes later.

Jack Lyons pulled a goal back with 14 minutes left for the visitors as Jersey once again impressed.

They go up to fourth in the table after rivals Faversham Town and Sittingbourne were both beaten- they are above the latter on goal difference and three points clear of the former.

"I'm really happy," Bulls manager Elliot Powell told BBC Radio Jersey.

"Obviously we broke the back of it in the first half, it was exactly what we asked the lads to do, run over the top of them, and I think we did that.

"I think we were just physically a little bit too much for them today, and then obviously we played some good football as well - Lorne's goal in particular was a really good goal, a really good team move.

"With how results have gone elsewhere it's a really good day for us."
