Morton warn fans of partial Cappielow closure

Greenock Morton have warned fans they face a partial stadium closure if there is a repeat of objects being thrown on to the Cappielow pitch at another Scottish Cup tie.
The Scottish Championship club revealed they have been fined £500 (with £250 suspended) after their 4-0 defeat by League 1 hosts Stenhousemuir in January.
They say they face "a suspended reduction in capacity at Cappielow" - 50% of uncovered standing, representing 1285 fans - "if a similar incident occurs at a future Scottish Cup match".
Morton also point out that two fans have been identified and received club bans, with "further action being considered by Police Scotland and the Procurator Fiscal", after "a small number of supporters were involved in unacceptable conduct" following their 1-1 league draw away to Arbroath in January.
The club, though, say they remain "proud of the incredible, passionate and loyal backing our fans give the team, home and away" by the "overwhelming majority".
Morton next host Arbroath in the Championship on Saturday.
