Peterborough United have announced a pre-tax profit of more than £2.9m for the 12 month period to the end of June 2025, compared to a loss of over £2.3m for the previous 12 months.
The League One club's annual turnover also showed a marked improvement, up by £5.8m to almost £16m.
The annual report filed by Companies House shows overall wages for players and other staff rose from £6.56m to more than £7.5m.
The 12-month period began six months after chairman Darragh MacAnthony became sole majority shareholder again, after Canadian businessmen Jason Neale and Stewart Thompson stepped down from the board.
Posh won the EFL Trophy at Wembley for the second year running in April 2025, beating Birmingham City 2-0 under former boss Darren Ferguson.

In a statement, chief executive Dawn Gore said: "Success on the pitch has been supplemented by the tremendous work off it, with the commercial team continuing to break records in terms of revenue and the retail department going from strength to strength following the opening of the new (club) store."
Peterborough sacked Ferguson in October last year with the team bottom of League One, but they have shown a marked improvement under his replacement Luke Williams and have risen to 14th.
"Whilst there will be no return trip to Wembley in April in the Vertu Trophy, there is still plenty of optimism for a good league campaign," Gore added.
Peterborough will be away to Leyton Orient on Saturday.
