Wales' European Under-21 Championship qualification hopes suffered a major blow as they were comfortably beaten 4-0 by Denmark.
Winger Adam Daghim, on loan at Wolfsburg from Red Bull Salzburg, gave the hosts the lead in the 17th minute with a sublime solo effort at Vejle Stadium.
Denmark took complete control before half-time as Clement Bischoff and Conrad Harder both netted late on in the opening half.
Birmingham City's August Priske struck his side's fourth late on to seal what proved to be a comfortable victory for the Danes.
Matty Jones' side stay fourth in Group I, four points adrift of Belgium and Denmark, who both have a game in hand.
Wales continue their qualifying campaign against Belgium on 28 September before hosting Austria in their final group game on 6 October.
