Defender Alex Mitchell says he would consider a permanent move to Plymouth Argyle in the summer.
The 24-year-old has been on loan from Championship side Charlton Athletic since mid-August.
He has started 28 of the club's 34 league games this season - the second highest by any Argyle player.
Mitchell still has a year left on the three-year deal he signed at Charlton when he moved to the club from Millwall in the summer of 2024.
But having played 34 times in all competitions in his first season as the Addicks won promotion via the League One play-offs, he did not feature in the Championship before joining Argyle.
"It's a place where I really enjoy going into work every day," Mitchell said ahead of Plymouth's League One clash with Doncaster Rovers.
"Next year obviously there's stuff you can't control, you've got to control the controllables - I know this obviously happened late in this season coming here because of stuff you can't control.
"It's definitely something I'll be looking at, but again there's other factors - I live far from home, I don't see my family obviously as much as I'd like to so that's obviously a hard one, but obviously all the lads are the same, that's just football in general.
"So it's something I'll look at, but again Charlton hold all the cards at the moment with what they want to do, but if they were to let me go I'd definitely really consider it."

Mitchell has been a constant in Argyle's central defence as his partners have changed, with Julio Pleguezuelo, Brendan Galloway and Mathias Ross all suffering injuries at some point.
But he says he has relished the trust shown by head coach Tom Cleverley, who has helped improve his game.
"I feel like I've got a responsibility here. Playing every week, you're trying to drive standards in the building," said Mitchell.
"I think that he's definitely worked on my positioning off the ball, the technicalities of that. But I'd like to have definitely improved on the ball here.
"I'm playing left side now, I think if you asked me two years ago in Scotland or Lincoln (about) playing left side, I'd probably have had a sleepless night, but I think I've even played off the left of a three in a couple of games this season.
"I do back myself and I think the gaffer has given me that confidence and has always been honest with me because I remember I didn't I didn't play Huddersfield and I just knew I wasn't up to standard before that game.
"So, I always respect that and it's very good of him to be like that."
