More bad weather has made forcing a result on the final day of this third Test evening more difficult.

Australia took India's final first-innings wicket in the fifth over of the day as the tourists were bowled out for 260.

That gave Australia a first-innings lead of 185 but no further play was possible before lunch because of rain, bad light and the threat of lightning.

Australia require quick runs in the afternoon session before any prospect of a declaration and an unlikely attempt to bowl India out for victory.
