Stress
The good news from your GP is that your blood tests are all normal; the bad news is that you are stressed and there is no tablet to fix it.
Experiencing loss, such as bereavement,or divorce, or experiencing long-term illness cause stress, but there are many incidents in our daily lives that cause anxiety, too.
Moving house, deadlines at work or the stresses and strains of family life can all leave us feeling at the end of our tether.
Symptoms of stress include irritability, difficulty sleeping, indigestion and loss of concentration.
Stress can bring serious consequences for our mental and physical health.
If you feel that stress is getting on top of you, and would like advice on techniques and treatments to cope with and overcome it, please contact us.
Barbara Myers will be putting your calls to GP Dr Sarah Jarvis.
