Csókolom (Hungary)
Andreas Pawelz, Berlin, Germany:
'I was at Berlin's Carnival of the Cultures festival in May 2001 when I saw virtuous violin player Anti von Klewitz with her band Allegro Barbaro on stage for the first time. I loved her music from the very beginning, "Amari szi, amari" and every other song she was playing. Anti also leads another (probably more popular) band called Csókolom, together with Sander Hoving (violin, bass), Anneke Frankenberg (violin) and Gregor Schaefer (bass). "When I Kiss Your Hand" is her first of two CDs with fiddle music and songs from Eastern Europe, mainly Hungarian and Gipsy - One of the most exciting records I've ever heard!'
