The
Dappled Garden - Jo Coleman: Apart from my regular church, St Johns in Harpenden,
the most spiritual place Ive visited recently is "The
Dappled Garden".
 |
| The
Dappled Garden |
Its
a private garden in Harpenden, affiliated to the Quiet Garden Trust.
A
peaceful oasis of calm, scented roses ramble through every tree
and the sun-dappled lawn meanders between well-mulched borders bulging
with shrubs, through a wild wood leading to a living willow house.
It's
the perfect hideaway to contemplate nature and meditate or pray.

| The
Dappled garden in Harpenden sounds like an oasis of tranquility,
a place to stand in awe and wonder at the beauty of nature.
I would love to take my elderly mother there, if I knew where
it was. She cannot walk far anymore, but she still appreciates
beauty. It could be our special place. |
