Visitors can immerse themselves in the making of their favourite podcasts - They will be able to go behind-the-scenes, meet their favourite hosts, join exclusive Q&As and even step into the studio to record their own mini podcast episode.

Castfest celebrates the huge success of the BBC’s critically acclaimed news podcasts and gives listeners the chance to get closer to the voices and stories they watch and listen to every day.

Hosts and podcasts attending will include:

  • Newscast: Adam Fleming, Laura Kuenssberg, Chris Mason, Paddy O'Connell, and Henry Zeffman
  • Americast: Sarah Smith, Marianna Spring, Justin Webb, and Anthony Zurcher

How to be in the audience

Step 1: Apply for tickets

Tickets for this show are being allocated by random draw, so when we receive your ticket request your details are added to the list of applicants. Applications are accepted until the publicised closing date/time.

Step 2: Receive a message

Once the random draw has closed all eligible requests are entered into the draw. If successful, we notify you by text message and send your e-ticket(s) to your email address. If unsuccessful you will be kept on the waiting list in case anyone cancels their tickets.

Step 3: Bring your tickets and ID

We do our best to get the numbers right, but unfortunately we occasionally have to disappoint people. Remember that every guest must bring original approved photo ID.
