Tribute to writer, Francis Partridge |

Frances Partridge was described by one critic as 'The last and nicest of the Bloomsbury set.' She died last week, aged 103.
In the twenties Frances became entangled in one of the most famous and tragic love triangles of the century which was dramatised in the film Carrington. Ralph Partridge, later to be her husband, was married to the artist Dora Carrington. Dora was in love with the writer Lytton Strachey who in turn was besotted by Ralph.
Talking to Martha Kearney on Woman's Hour in 1998, Frances described the moment she and Ralph met.
