I remember one hot Summer night when my own child was young. He wasn’t very well and so he was restless. I got panicked and wondered what to do. So I put him in my arms and started to sing this lullaby to him, ‘Ah-La-Lu-La-Lu-La-Lu’. To my surprise, he went to sleep and I was greatly relieved that it worked.
My children are 17 and 20 years old now. They complained that I didn’t sing this song regularly to them when they were children. But they say that when they get married, they’ll make sure that I sing this song for them or they’ll get their wives to sing it. That will be a condition of marriage. back to first part of this tale
