Nottingham's Arboretum was developed in Victorian times to exhibit
a collection of trees.
It was the first public park in Nottingham and the one closest to
the city centre.
The park was opened on the 11th of May, 1852 and in 2002 celebrated
its 150th anniversary.
It has to be the ultimate place to chill for those
who live on the north side of the city.
It is a beautifully maintained large park with many areas to find
your own space in.
Being so close to the university, this park is particularly popular
with students, who virtually live there by the end of the summer
term.
