reyrolle's at Hebburn was a very busy firm in 1965 employing thousands of people i enjoyed my year's there as a typist and travelled each day by bus the hours of work were 8.45 am till 5 15pm monday to friday 30 people worked in the pool and it was interesting working for an engineering firm the journey to work took 15 minutes by bus i didnt wear a uniform but wore smart clothing.
