I set out to find out about my family. But not having known about their history, or even who they were until I started out, I found that they do things that I do - and finding these tremendous connections about how we mirror each other in our lives.
And that was the really surprising thing and the exciting thing. And it did actually give me a sense of knowing who I was. Somehow, you know that it's all been done before, but there you are you're your great grandfather's great grand daughter! It's a bit like saying, you know that you ... are like your parents. It does give you a sort of comfortable feeling.
So I did exactly what my great grandfather did - wanted to start a football team and encourage the lads and build it up from there. So ... it's very strange.
