We've got to find how they got to where they ended up and where they got married. And, of course, being Montral Quebec it's all in French. My sister is married to a Frenchman so I'll have to recruit her to do that part of it - and it spreads and it just becomes more time consuming - in a nice way. It is really a nice hobby.
We were at my niece's wedding two weeks ago in Brittany and the family came from Ireland, France and England - my brother, my sister and myself - the three families were all together, all the nieces and nephews. And Helenka brought her laptop and her family history, and she pinned them down and asked them questions, and it added a great sense of ... family unity to the gathering. You know ... as well as celebrating Marie's wedding we were getting to know our family background at the same time. And it ... it was lovely.
