MEMORIES FROM WAZIRISTAN

Tim was facinated when he found out about his great grandfathers experience of the First World War. C.J.Lane a signaller was sent to the remote region of Afghanistan where he was involved in a much smaller but no less bloody battle between British Forces and the Mashud Tribe in Summer of 1917. Tim has taken C.J's words and photos to tell his hero's story.
