Think you have a refined palate? Or can put the latest products through their paces? Then JVS needs you!  We taste all different foods and drinks! There are a number of ways you can be part of the consumer clinic with JVS. Perhaps you do your weekly shop at the supermarket and are great at hunting out the latest bargains? Then Supermarket Sweep is for you! Every Monday JVS gives 2 shoppers a list of 5 ingredients that they have to price up at the supermarket. Then on the Wednesday the shoppers report back on how much each item cost. Producer Laura adds up the list, the one with the cheapest items is declared the winner and the loser is sent in to the corner. If you have a refined palate and like to try out different foods then JVS wants you to take part in the taste test! You would need to come to the BBC Three Counties Radio studios in Luton at around 12.15pm on a Tuesday and be available for about 45 minutes. You'll be asked to try 4 or 5 different brands of the same item and give your verdict. So far we've tested lots of different foods and drinks including quiche lorraine, coca-cola and even JVS's home grown tomatoes!  Carl relaxes in his sleeping bag suit Perhaps you'd like to try out the latest products? Every week we ask 2 listeners to test all sorts of different things. We tried out lots of different products including blenders, mouthwashes, men's tights and fake tan. You would need to come to our studios, collect the product, try it out for a week then report back to us the following Thursday about how you found it. In many cases you'll get to keep the product like Carl did after he tried out a sleeping bag suit!
