Something to write about are a five-piece band from Stafford. Formed from a conversation between founding members John, Dean and Dave, who all had been in heavier bands previously, looking to try something different musically to their previous efforts.

Taking influence from many genres within the alternative scene, early jamming sessions led to tracks being written very quickly. After an early demo the band jumped straight into the studio to record their 1st ep, "Painting Pictures".
