Dressed in workboots, jeans and a T-shirt, Michael will be performing with the Olivier Award-winning dance troupe on Wednesday, 24 January, 2007 to help promote the TLC Foundation. The charity was set up by Brent Cockbain, the Wales and British Lions lock, in memory of his son to help children with cancer and leukaemia. Brent joined the Tap Dogs onstage at their recent performances in Cardiff, and Michael was keen to take up the opportunity of learning tap dance too. Speaking to BBC Somerset Sound's Elise Rayner, Michael said: "I haven't really got any qualities on the dance floor so to speak, but we'll see how it goes - it should be fun!" Tap Dogs are at the Theatre Royal Bath until 27 January 2007 |
