'LTTE air attack' in Mannar

Suspected Tamil Tiger air planes dropped bombs near Mannar, officials said.
Military spokesman Brig Udaya Nanayakkara told BBC Sandeshaya that the planes dropped two bombs near Thaladi. "No damages or injuries reported so far," he said.
Explosions and anti aircraft firing were also heard in the capital, Colombo, residents say. |
