Jaffna journalist hacked to death

A Tamil journalist and his associate were hacked to death in Jaffna
A journalist working for Sirasa media network was hacked to death in Jaffna.

P Devakumaran and his associate were killed in Navanthurei on Wednesday, Free Media Movement (FMM) said.

Susil Kindelpitiya, MTV News Director, told BBC Sandeshaya that the journalist was on his way home as he was assaulted.

The bodies were brought into Jaffna hospital.

Meanwhile, over a 100 journalists are attending a banquet at the presidents official residence.
