Kevin McIntyre's Wembley diary

Follow the run-up to Shrewsbury Town's League Two play-off final at Wembley with Kevin McIntyre's daily diary.

Thursday, 21 May

We had training, had some food and then set off for London from the Prostar stadium at about 1.30pm.

I'm sharing a room with Graham Coughlan, my usual room mate. He's a good lad. The only thing I would say about him is he thinks he brilliant at televison quizzes, but I have to put him right, he's awful at them. His only bad habit is his snoring but it could be worse!

"To score the goal to help us on the way to winning the semi-final at Bury and now in with a chance of promotion... but we need to finish the job."

We're having a team meal tonight, then a little walk around, back to the room for a bit of TV. I'll probably have a nice soak in the bath to relax and prepare for tomorrow.

We're training on Friday in London, but the whole squad is prepared for the game and looking forward to it. We're positive, the lads have been together and been preparing ourselves for the last push.
