The Prostar Stadium at Shrewsbury

The Prostar Stadium ready for action

The excitement mounts for Shrews fans

Nick George from Baschurch has been a Shrewsbury Town fan for 35 years. He and his sons, Ross and Jack, are eagerly anticipating tonight's League Two play off clash with Bury.

The George family have been to all 46 Shrewsbury Town games this season, but tonight's first leg of the play offs at the Prostar Stadium against Bury is the most important so far.

Nick George, who has been a lifelong fan of the club, has no doubts about the outcome: "Full of confidence we are going to do it; done the 46 games; this is it now; nothing to be frightened of."

Nick said he queued for 45 minutes for tonight's tickets and bought his away tickets at the same time: "I think we've got the more experienced team, been there, and the likes of Grant Holt to put it in the net."

His son's Ross and Jack share their father's optimism and both believe that Shrewsbury Town can win and are looking forward to a trip to Wembley.

Nick hopes the ground will be full for the match tonight: "I say, go on down there. Get a ticket. I know you've got it on the radio, but get down there, there's nothing like being there."
