Why we love them
If you haven’t got a sparkly gold or silver belt for the party season, then you are so not this year. Belts are definitely the way to liven up your LBD.
But where did our passion come from? Anna McNamee has been researching the history of belts with the fashion writer Caroline Cox and Edwina Ehrman, a curator at the Museum of London.
