10 years of the Orange Prize
In 1996 when the prize was first launched Woman's Hour debated the need for a 'women only' prize for fiction. To launch Best of the Best today we're returning to that debate to ask what The Orange Prize for Fiction has achieved in ten years and if there's still a need for this prize for fiction written by women. Jenni talks to Kate Mosse, co-founder and honorary director of the Orange Prize and author, Anne Fine.
