The scientist behind Viagra
Last night Gill Samuels won a CBI First Women Award for her contribution to science.
Dr Samuels has long been recognised as one of the leading women in UK science. As she enters retirement, Jenni talks to her about her lifelong career with global pharmaceutical company Pfizer where, among other things, she led the development of the anti-impotence drug Viagra.
