Britain's prostitution laws are to undergo their biggest overhaul for 50 years.
The government's paper, Paying the Price, was launched in July to prompt a public debate on how to deal with prostitution. The consultation period closed on Friday.
Woman's Hour looks at some of the suggestions; jail for men who pay for sex, better exit strategies for prostitutes, tolerance zones, or licenses for prostitutes. We also hear from some of the groups who have responded.
