Ways to brighten up a dry summer garden...
Has your garden started to look a little faded after the delights of June and early July?
June and July are colourful months in the garden, but August can make a garden start to look a little jaded - especially this year as the sun, wind and heavy rain take their toll.
Corinne Julius has found out how to introduce a little colour into the garden by taking advice from Maggie Campbell Culver, plant historian and the author of The Origins of Plants - on introducing a bit of brightness for this time of year.
The Origin of Plants by Maggie Campbell-Culver is published by Headline.
