  Regret 4 August 2004
How should we deal with the past?

If you look back on your life, what do you see? Missed opportunities, lost relationships, mistakes you made?

Writer Jenny Colgan has developed a novel solution to regrets in her latest book - she allows the heroine to go back in time to her teens to have a second chance at life, whilst psychologist Steve Davies' research focuses on putting elderly people's regrets into perspective. They join Jenni to discuss regret and how we deal with it.

Jenny Colgan's book Do You Remember the First Time? is available from HarperCollins ISBN 0007153856
