June is the highest ranking woman in the Church of England.
On 1st May, she will be installed as the new Dean of Salisbury Cathedral - the first woman to hold the post in the Cathedral's 784 year history. As Dean she is the highest ranking woman in the Church of England - and she is already tipped as the first female bishop.
She is one of the original thirty-two women ordained as priests in 1994. She is also the author of a church document on homosexuality - reported to be so radical it had to be shelved.
Jenni asks the June Osborne about her plans and whether she feels there is a natural sympathy among women priests towards clergy who are gay.
